How it works

A code on every keg. A trail that never stops.

Kegscapade puts a durable QR or NFC tag on every keg you ship. Every scan, at pickup, delivery, tap, or return, is logged to your dashboard. You get a live map of your entire fleet, from your loading dock to the last pour.

Three steps

Tag. Track. Know.

Tag it

We send you industrial-grade QR and NFC tags. Apply them once. They survive keg washing, refrigeration, and the chaos of a busy bar.

Track it

Your distributor scans on pickup and delivery. The bar scans when a keg goes on tap. Every scan is automatic, timestamped, and location-tagged. NFC means no camera needed.

Know it

Your dashboard shows every keg, every account, every scan in real time. Overdue kegs get flagged. Slow-moving product gets surfaced. Stale beer gets caught before it reaches a glass.

Not just kegs. The same scannable code goes on packaged beer, so cases and cans get the same freshness check and chain of custody from dock to shelf to fridge.

Everyone in the chain

One scan, four wins

Breweries

A live keg map, overdue alerts, batch traceability, sell-through by account, and demand forecasting.

Distributors

A driver scan app, real-time account inventory, automatic return pickups, audit-ready logs, and route planning.

Bars

A self-updating tap list from one script tag, or a free hosted page at kegscapade.com/taplist/your-bar.

Drinkers

Scan the code and see freshness, the beer's journey, and the brewery's story. No app, no signup.

Why bars scan: it keeps their own tap list current. Each scan also tells the brewery its beer just went on tap, which is the most valuable signal in the supply chain, and nobody had to be asked for it.

Fair questions

What people ask first

Why would a bar bother scanning?

Scanning a keg updates their own tap list. The brewery's data is a free byproduct of a bar keeping its website current. That's the design.

Our distributor won't adopt this.

Once a brewery tags its kegs, every distributor handling them starts seeing the dashboard. Adoption follows the product, not a sales call.

What about scan friction?

The driver app is a single tap. NFC tags mean no camera. POS integrations make scanning automatic on keg change.

We already track kegs in a spreadsheet.

A spreadsheet tells you how many kegs you own. Kegscapade tells you which bar across the state has had one of yours for four months.

Our kegs go through a wash line.

Tags are rated for commercial keg-washing temperatures and pressure cycles. They're designed to outlive the keg.

How long does setup take?

Less than a day. Tags ship within a week, and the first 30 days are free with no credit card required.

Your kegs are out there, somewhere.

Some are on tap. Some are in a cooler. Some haven't been seen in six months. Kegscapade tells you what is where and helps you get them back.
